Self-Defense Skills & Conflict Resolution for Kids

Our martial arts training prioritises teaching effective self-defence skills for any situation, whether facing a neighborhood bully or a stranger. However, true martial arts is about more than just physical defence. Our children's classes emphasize respect, self-discipline, and the ability to handle conflicts peacefully whenever possible. We also equip your child with the awareness and knowledge to recognize when using self-defense is necessary for their safety.

FAQ's

What should my child wear to their first class?

Comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement is fine for the first few classes. A uniform can be purchased if they decide to continue. And it's always a good idea to bring a drink.

What are the benefits of martial arts for children?

Martial arts develops confidence, discipline, focus, fitness, self-defence skills. and social skills, in a fun, structured environment.

What if my child is nervous about starting?

Many children are nervous initially, but our instructors are experienced in helping shy kids feel comfortable and build confidence.

Do parents need to stay and watch?

While parents are welcome to watch, and encouraged to from our dedicated private viewing room, it's not mandatory. Many children gain independence and confidence by participating on their own.

How do you handle behaviour or discipline issues?

We focus on positive reinforcement, encouraging respect and discipline, with a structured system in place for addressing any behaviour issues.

How often are classes, and how long do they last?

Classes are held 4 times per week for each age group, with most sessions lasting 40 minutes.

Such a fantastic place for a kid to grow and develop great keys skills, in confidence, commitment and leadership skills. There are children at the club with ADHD, Autism, and the progress they have over months or years even is extraordinary. What a great team and family to be part of.
