Eight instructors and assistant instructors from Phoenix Martial Arts in Swindon recently completed their Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification, joining participants from other GTI clubs and local Swindon martial arts schools.
The course, delivered by First Personnel Training, covered essential first aid skills needed to keep members safe in and out of the training environment. For some, this was their first certification, while others were renewing their qualifications as part of their ongoing commitment to high standards.
At Phoenix, first aid is taken very seriously—all instructors are required to be certified, and this qualification is renewed every three years. The safety and wellbeing of students is a top priority, and having a fully trained team ensures a safe and professional environment for everyone.
This investment in instructor training reflects the club’s wider commitment to excellence in both Taekwondo instruction and duty of care, supporting the continued growth of martial arts in Swindon.
